Speaker Bio: Donnacha Costello

Donnacha CostelloSince his production debut in 1996, Donnacha has forged his very own brand of emotional and highly refined electronic music; timeless club music which has  found its way into the playlists of house and techno’s biggest DJs. Releasing records since 1996, and founding his own label Minimise in 1999, Costello first came to wide-scale international attention with the albums ’Growing Up In Public‘ and ‘Together’.  It was the release of his famed ‘Colorseries‘ in 2004 that truly placed him firmly at the top of his field. This success was solidified in 2006 with the release of his now infamous 6x6=36 project; Minimise. 2007 brought another hit with “BlackBag Job”. 2008 saw the iconic “It Simply Is/Trust”. Costello combines the spontaneity and strong character of his older machines with the finesse of the computer to achieve a hybrid sound that transcends arguments concerning old school versus new school.
