Pulse College Participates in Innovative College Fair
Pulse College are delighted to announce they took the innovative decision to be the sole Irish participants in the largest online college fair, College Week Live 2010. This innovative 2 day fair which took place on the 24th and 25th of March enabled Pulse College to engage with students from all over the world promoting Ireland as a place to study and Pulse College as a multi media centre of excellence.
Virtual college fairs are a relatively recent phenomenon and have been such a success that they are firmly set to be the future for college recruitment. With more users utilizing the web for college searches, as well as the spread of broadband internet access, online college fairs are fast becoming a major resource for college application information.
We are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to promote our courses, College Week Live allows us to extend our audience reach to overseas students looking to live and study in Ireland” explains Naomi Moore, Pulse College Director.
The first College Week event began in November of 2007 and attracted 25,000 students; this has now grown to over taking part in College Week 2010. The event show has 20-60 hours of live presentations from admissions experts in various fields as well as interactive seminars on numerous topics, including writing college essays and admissions strategies.
One of the main benefits of College Week is that travel costs are eliminated for both school representatives and students. The event is completely free for students to enter, making it accessible to everyone which is vital in these uncertain economic times.
